The Outcast Pac 1200 is going to revolutionize the way I fish this summer. After a long summer of fishing from shore and in friends’ boats last year, and a long winter of thinking it over, my neighbor and I ordered this two-man pontoon boat that should handle all of the local rivers we like to fish.
The boat was delivered to the house early Thursday afternoon in several boxes and lots of pieces. After several hours, I had it together and up on the raft trailer. Boy is she a beauty!
Anxious to take the first ride, we put in on the river Friday afternoon. The water was just right. It was barely high enough for us to float through with little effort, but too low in most places for a larger traditional raft. We had the river to ourselves, and we even got into a few nice fish!
I’m really happy with the new raft. It maneuvers well, floats high and loads and unloads easy. Can’t wait to take it back out this weekend!
